High court Catholics sinfully endorsed lethal injection

As a Catholic, I am appalled that the so-called "devout" Catholics on
the Supreme Court all voted that execution by lethal injection is not
cruel and unusual punishment.

Pope Benedict has stated that capital punishment is against Catholic
belief, so how can these hypocrites vote that any kind of capital
punishment can be acceptable?

As far as I am concerned, they hold similar views of Christianity to
those by Tomas de Torquemada, inquisitor general of the Spanish
Inquisition. I'm sure he would have loved lethal injection. He might
have found it preferable to burning at the stake.

They should however, when, or rather if, they ever search their
consciences, remember that when Jesus was asked his opinion of
capital punishment, (The woman taken in adultery), he responded, "Let
he among you who is without sin, cast the first stone."

In their complacent arrogance, I think they forget that one day, they
will have to face God to explain their actions. I think He will find
that like the rest of us, they are sinners.
